Donald Trump deflected responsibility for misleading Americans about the length of the Iran war, dismissed low poll ratings as “fake numbers” and refused to rule out the possibility of declaring a state of emergency before the midterms, in a wide-ranging interview with Time magazine.

When confronted with questions about the length of the Iran war, the US president blamed the media for reporting his remarks in which he said the conflict was projected to last “four to five weeks”, in March.

“ … I think the press fed it to them,” Trump told Time when asked whether Americans misunderstood him.

Also logistics, it takes a lot of food, fuel, and general supplies to move a large number of people about let alone entire presumably battalions of soldiers to random ass locations. Even if they just deployed them on voting day proper there's a solid chance they wouldn't even get to any locations until voting is over especially if it's randomly sprung on the soldiers, and if they do it for early voting and mail in multiply the fuckfest with long-term deployment issues especially since I could see some areas being overwhelmed with food and gas running out or low not even getting into general service denial.

Conservatives don't give a teeny, tiny chicken fried fuck about feeding or caring for troops. Not one bit.

You're not wrong but not feeding your troops is a great way to have "communication issues" or have them sit on their asses and not listen to you also fragging. Also the fuel thing should not be underestimated, I could easily see a convoy being stranded somewhere random cause they ran out of diesel.
