Not sure why this myth persists, Canada bought 2.1tW of electricity from US last year.

    Canada exports more than 30tw/h to Yankees while they export 20ish tw/h back

    The point is they only do this to save money seasonally, they could just crank up the coal generators.

    Canadians are quite delusional about the autonomy of Canada from the US economy. It could take generations to uncouple.
