Firefox just rolled out a visual update "Nova". Here's how to roll it back. (slrpnk.net)

Not a fan of the new look. If you're in the same boat, plug:

about:config

into your URL bar, and search for:

browser.nova.enabled

Toggle it to false using the button to the right.

There are functional changes that Nova also introduced: this won't effect those - only the aesthetic.

Seeing the blog post I wasn't sold on the changes, but I thought to myself it's usually just a matter of getting used to it.

Then I realized I'm reading this from GNOME Web and I hardly use Firefox at all any more. For the first time I will not get used to it. Then I saw the links to Twitter and Linkedin, and remembered exactly why I left that trainwreck behind.
