Gives me a little proprioceptive and vestibular stimulation on the side to compliment my attention while passing meds at the window. Might not work / be accessible to everybody but it's something to try and if it adds another tool to your coping skills box you're welcome.
that is actually a situation I do not reccomend doing that especially if your shower does not have mobility aids like grab handles but also nurse brain hates lots of things like that one time I saw my husband stumble and had a straight up PTSD flashback with visuals where I briefly hallucinated him falling back and hitting his head on the corner of the wall and the adrenaline spike that caused was a WILD ride. Legit though like statistically speaking a lot more people just fall and crack their head and randomly die or spend the rest of their life paralyzed / brain damaged than we're willing to talk about as a society.
