I have always done some kind of work out in my life, however, as of the last two years i’ve stopped caring about it and had no interest in it. I did swimming from 4 to 14 years old, and from 14 to 16 i went to the gym pretty constantly, but now as an 18 year old i don’t do anything. I’ve found myself missing swimming, but mostly just giving up on the gym because i stopped finding enjoyment in it. However i am well aware that i should probably do something, it’s just very hard to want to do it in the first place. I don’t really care about being strong or handsome, but i’ve always been overweight since i was a little kid and even tho i’m on a diet, i struggle with losing weight and the advice is always “go to the gym”. How do YOU manage to find motivation to work out?

I try to do things that are fun for me, but underlying it all is that I treat my exercise regimen as a job. It's just something I do and can't miss. It's a habit. Whether or not I feel like working out is irrelevant, in the same way whether I feel like going to work is irrelevant, I know it is something that I need to do so I just do it.
