My last job was at a company with 25 US employees and about 100 in India. It was understood that our job in the US was to be American faces who showed up at the client every day while the Indian employees did most of the actual code production. The problem was that our Indian employees were generally ghastly coders (a few were as good as anyone) so I had to do most of the real work as well.
