Interesting story, Wyatt Earps older brother Virgil married a girl when he was young whose family didn't approve of the marriage. She got pregnant right before he enlisted in the civil war, and when he returned he found her and her family had packed up and left and he spend a few years trying to find them but gave up.

Years later he had remarried and him and is brother became famous due to all the cowboy shit and he got a letter from his first wife saying her parents had lied and said he died in the war, but she had given birth to his daughter, remarried, and now had several other kids. Virgil told his new wife and she was actually super understanding and told Virgil he should go visit his daughter. They had a relationship till his death.
