I was super anti smart locks until I left my garage open and doors unlocked for an entire weekend because I'm forgetful. With smart doors and locks that doesn't happen and, possibly a controversial take, doors being closed and locked by reputable smart devices is more secure than them standing open. Most crimes are those of opportunity, and a thief is just gonna try the door and break a window when it doesn't open if they're willing to go that far.
