The department has been firing people that they found out they didn't pass their background checks now after they didn't do them in the first place. My guess is probably things like having previous arrests/convictions, DV, different aliases.

But probably not things like being convicted for beastiality, those kids are alright according to Kash.

There's a sweet spot of UNHINGED RACIST PSYCHO WHO WILL FOLLOW ORDERS they're looking for. These were either UNHINGED RACIST PSYCHOPATHS WHO BLINDLY FOLLOW ORDERS or UNHINGED RACIST PSYCHOS WHO MAY QUESTION ORDERS.
