I got let go from my software dev job a few years ago, right before all this bullshit cropped up. I ended up taking half the salary I used to make for a software support role instead. People love this slop here too and keep encouraging us to use it for our documentation and shit but so far I've never been forced to engage with it at least. My manager is subtle about it but seems to feel the same way luckily.

If it's getting pushed on us so hard in a support role, I can't even fathom what it'd be like trying to slog through a dev role with everyone worshiping this garbage.
