Hello family, I wanted to share a small update about how things are going for me in Canada and ask for your help once again.
Being here and finally feeling safe has changed my life but rebuilding everything from the beginning has been difficult. I’m learning a new system, searching for stable work and upgrading my school credits so that I can eventually study nursing. My dream is to build a secure life and one day help others who have survived situations like mine.
Right now the cost of professional certificates is holding me back from jobs in youth and community support. I need CPR, Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and security training. Together, I’m trying to raise CAD $800 for these certificates. Completing the security training, exam, background check and licensing process in Ontario can cost approximately CAD $360.
