I thought it was funny to take songs that I find earworms, think "I'll never be royal" or "Hello," and I listened to each back to back. I honestly thought they'd cancel each other out. The winner took over for weeks. It sucks.

The surefire trick that gets rid of an earworm everytime, 80% guaranteed.

Think of the ending of the song. Let it conclude soundly in your head. If you don't know the ending, you can imagine a big dramatic ending. It let's your brain stop the loop.
