I have a feeling that Flock will eventually go out of business, everyone will cheer and go home, then a new company will take its place behind closed doors and without the media attention

My theory is that the hate campaign is, like, incitement as a business model. Since people are boring and uninteresting rendering mass surveillance as wasteful and pointless as everything else we do in the burgerreich. It is instead trying to entrap a few people who are fools enough to fall for the reddit-logo op to go out and vandalize one of these things and get slapped with an Andor-style 40 year sentence for public nuisance and if needed the prison industrial complex can start sending our rounded-up gullible dunces first to Kharg and Ukraine for time-off, gamer bux, and TRT. Something to have in the back pocket.

The number of people arrested for wrecking flock cams is miniscule on the scales of the US prison system. A genuine drop in the bucket. At the same time, repeated wrecking is both expensive, and renders the surveillance system far less effective. Some county sheriffs have even admitted that they cancelled their flock contract partially because it was vandalized frequently enough it wasn't very useful anyway.
