I'm from Oklahoma and the first time I had it was in San Diego with someone from Phoenix. I didn't get it at all, you couldn't throw a rock without hitting a better Mexican place in San Diego.

Being from rural Arizona, my first experience with Chipotle was in Washington DC where the other half of our tour group was a school from Oklahoma. Somehow it was still hot for them.

By that reasoning my dinner today was Mexican. But I used loads of soy sauce and honey, it was almost like hoisin once thickened by cooking with the onions and beans.

Stir fry wrap? Although even that isn't really right as it wasn't a stir fry. I don't really know what to call a lot of my food. I reject puritanical traditionalists and just make what I enjoy.
