I'm speaking broadly because I really don't want to start a fight here. It feels like many sides will never ever yield on anything and honestly, I've grown tired of the constant fighting

The idealism approaching the subject on all sides is what makes it so exhausting. If people would just stop look at the materialist perspective there wouldn't be any problem.
