The cancellation follows multiple bands dropping off the festival lineup, including the British punk band The Adicts, who noted in a statement that “punk should unify us, not divide us.”

Last year, Punk in the Park was under fire after Celtic punk-rock group Dropkick Murphys announced the Denver edition of the festival would be their last. They said that Punk in the Park’s owner, Cameron Collins of Brew Ha Ha Productions, donated to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, and “punk rock and Donald Trump just don’t belong together.”
