In the underground phase of the Bolsheviks? No. So ss long as it doesn't interfere with the prime objective of the party it wouldn't really matter what 'personal vices' one had. Post civil war however that'd be grounds for expulsion from the party. And that tidbit of info brings me back all the way to my very initial comment that at that at different phases of agitation necessitate different standards of operation because the material conditions the pizzle party finds itself in are different to where the Bolsheviks were. Which is to say trying to apply the historic lesson of the Bauman affair to this current affair would be the incorrect application.
