Facts aren't edgy. America is literally trying to invade several countries at the moment, some of them it's longest allies.. Do you not watch the news?

The blowhard president talking shit does not equal the US trying to do something.

He talks shit for leverage because he thinks he's the best even though we all know he's a piece of fucking shit. He just said he wanted a united ireland, surely because he thinks that will force the UK to join the Iran war.

Same with Canada but for different reasons. Not that he wouldn't do these things if he could, but he can't. And he doesn't have the juice even if we could.

You're missing the point while you trip over yourself in your eagerness to be edgy

And I say this as someone who holds 'Murica beneath contempt

There is no doubt that it would be better for humanity if the USA were not fascist and were not trying to shake down the entire world. But they are, and they are. Our choices seem to be global economic devastation or literal WW3. The USA has to be stopped because Shitler ain't gonna stop himself. If Iran and the Houthis can undo Trump by squeezing the economy, i think it's better than global conflict. There will be terrible repercussions either way, but I still think WW3 would be worse. If this view seems 'edgy', it's because you are more optimistic about what is in store for the world were the USA to succeed in its current aggression against Iran.

That in your efforts to shit on the US, you ignore the fact that other, more vulnerable economies will be brutally battered, whether they support the US or not

Your childishness is ignorant to the ripples in the pond

I want to see the power and influence of the US weakened to the point where they are the same as everyone else, but I recognise that ripping the carpet out from under them would hurt many people, and unfortunately, most of them will be the already precarious and vulnerable

The brutal battering of vulnerable economies is Trump's exact intention. He started that process before he attacked Iran. You can't view this war in isolation: he is starving Cuba, robbing Venezuela, threatening the rest of NATO...

We can't avoid the bad outcomes of American aggression; they are upon us. Stopping Trump would be the only 'good' outcome at this point - I think that is what the previous poster meant by 'good for the rest of the world.'

It's like how amputation and chemotherapy is 'good' for a cancer patient if it saves their life.
