How is Russia anti-capitalist? They are anti-imperialist at the moment, which is not the same thing.

when should our support ever be uncritical?

leave the Iranians and Russians to deal with their internal problems.

You can't say all support is critical, then in the next breath say any criticism (of Russia for being capitalist, or Iran for being a theocracy) is impermissible interference in a country's internal affairs.

Russia and Iran are anti-capitalist because they're anti-imperialist and anti-imperialism is essential for the current form of capitalism to continue existing and imperialism must be defeated for socialist revolution to become possible. Your whining about Russia and Iran being bad and how awful it is for you to support them only serves to promote a paternalistic colonialist attitude among leftists in the global North towards the global South. You cannot affect politics in Iran or Russia, only Iranians and Russians can cause that change so stay in your lane unless you've done real historical materialist analysis of the conditions of those countries instead of calling them "bad".
