I’ve just caught up on the posts from today. I’m so sorry this is happening. Don’t feel rushed or pressured into any decisions. You’re an adult, this is your life, and where and how you live is entirely your choice. If you need a week or a month or even longer to properly think it over then that’s what you do. You might get pushback so be ready to stand firm. But I think you already know that you don’t want locked rooms in your home. And I agree with you, I wouldn’t want it either.
