The thing with humor is, if you don't think it is funny you tend to start searching for some deeper meaning when there is none. It really comes down to taste, but most people would agree that there is distasteful comedy, like making fun of the disabled, minorities and a like. If there weren't a bunch of hateful bigots but instead we would all work together I bet it would not be the issue.

If I had to guess why people in this thread argue is that the most powerful people in the world absolutely love killing thousands upon thousands of people for money and power. But to justify it they conjure up some bullshit. It is not too hard to imagine them being advocating for nature while starving and killing a bunch of nations.
