My thoughts: kids aren't bored enough anymore to care about learning anything. Even poor kids now seem to have endless access to the internet and social media. They are used to life in 15second or less clips and statements. They don't need to know anything other than how to Google or AI and answer and therefore don't know when they are getting a fabricated answer. It's kind of like the kids that only eat crap food and weigh 300lbs in elementary school. Their choices might be horrible but adults made those the choices available to them. I have a nephew who want to learn cursive but his parents are against it because 'neither of them have good handwriting'. Under 30s are in a bad time for learning but they aren't the ones responsible for it. The billionaires want uneducated serfs.
