For me, and probably 99.99% of Lemmy users, sure. I was talking to the daughter of a family friend recently (somewhere around 16yo), and her dad uses Linux (not for gaming), and I asked what she used. She said Windows, because "you can't game on Linux." I asked what she played, because almost every game works fine, and she said Fortnite. She's in a family where one of the parents at least is anti-Windows, but she can't really switch because of that game. I'd much rather it worked with Linux so those kids wouldn't be left out if they switch. The alternative is them just not switching, which is worse.
