This reddit-originated post is being reposted every so often, and every time I remind people that firing pregnant women is a criminal offence in most European countries and no sane oppressor entrepreneur would do it.

    Amazon left Quebec after a warehouse unionized. Not legal either, Walmart got successfully sued over something similar in the past. They still did it.

    On the plus side, Amazon left.
