I’ve always found this advice funny. If I do what I hate first thing in the morning, then I won’t get anything else done.

    I don’t have adhd. I prefer creating a list and doing the hard thing last, otherwise I’ll be so emotionally drained from doing the hard thing, that I won’t be able to do anything else.

    The thing you’re ignoring, is it if happens everytime, that’s the problem.

    Just because you don’t understand something doesn’t mean people are “pathlogizing” it. Maybe you are just missing something. Like the frequency….?

    Pardon? You’re the one that’s trivializing people with a disability. You don’t seem to comprehend how damaging that can be to people.

    You’re mocking disabled people, this shouldn’t need to be explained how that makes you a terrible person. And the person doing so isn’t defensive, you’re apparently just easily offended getting called out offending disabled people lmfao.

    Of course having these issues are normal, what isn’t is the frequency and how it affects your daily life.

    You are mocking something that are useful tools for people who may not know they are indicative of actual potential issues?

    Your comment very clearly is, you just don’t realize that you’re a terrible person. It’s like pointing out that a racist is being racist. It just doesn’t work.

    It’s no different than those PSAs like, do you snore, you may have OSA. How would the person know something was wrong otherwise or know to ask?

    An adhd makes it so everything else is a struggle.

    If it’s affecting your life, it’s time to see a doctor.

    It’s not about the “bandwidth” and you’re being totally ignorant of the issues neurodivergent people suffers.

    It’s the more the tank is constantly on 10% because of various issues, while a normal person can recharge from various “things” to top up.

    It’s not normal to be constantly fatigued and frustrated, if you think THAT is, get some help.

    I thought adhd meant that you struggle to get things done and you lose focus? I’m productive. My room is clean and organized/I don’t lose things, I’m not late on things, I plan things out and then execute them. Stressful events are emotionally exhausting for me, but I don’t avoid them. I listen to my energy and take breaks when I need to.

    E: I think adhd can be confused with other things like trauma.

    A lot of NDs have overlapping symptoms. We also live in a world where we're forced to adapt, so coping mechanisms and masking developed subconsciously make it even more difficult to really tell what is the underlying cause of some behaviors.

    Maybe you have ADHD, maybe you don't. People are not able to diagnose you based on a single comment. As long as you feel like you're tackling life well and aren't constantly struggling, I wouldn't worry too much.

    Don't diagnose others neurodivergence via a forum post, especially when they didn't ask you to. It's unlikely that you will do so accurately and that can be damaging to others' mental health journeys.

    I didn’t diagnose them, I provided information. How could that be construed as a diagnosis?

    TLDR take your own advice and Butt out and fuck off yourself.

    If someone complains that everytime they step it hurts, it’s not diagnosing them to say that’s not normal and explain why. If they want to see a doctor, that’s their prerogative. I didn’t tell them to go get checked.
