Before the war my dream was simple

I wanted to continue my education build a future and one day be able to support my parents my brother and my sister

Like millions of young people around the world I believed that with hard work determination and education I could build a better life

Then the war came and everything changed

For nearly three years my family and I have been living in a displacement camp

Every day has become a struggle just to survive

The summer heat inside our tent is unbearable

During the day the tent becomes like an oven making it difficult to sleep rest or even breathe comfortably

One of the hardest parts of our daily life is getting water

We walk long distances carrying heavy buckets because clean water is extremely difficult to find

Every liter matters

We never know whether we will have enough water for drinking cooking or washing

Food has also become a daily struggle

Many days we survive on the simplest meals because basic food has become difficult to find and far too expensive

Life has become a constant search for things that most people consider basic necessities

The war has also affected our health deeply

Medical care is extremely limited

Medicines are often unavailable and even simple illnesses can become frightening when treatment is difficult or impossible to find

After years of uncertainty our family is exhausted both physically and emotionally

But despite everything I still refuse to give up

I have been nominated for admission in Cairo so that I can continue my education

I have also received an acceptance from the University of Glasgow

For me this is more than an academic opportunity

It is a dream I have carried for years

A dream to study in Europe gain knowledge build a career and one day return that opportunity to my family by creating a better future for them

Unfortunately these opportunities require financial resources that my family simply cannot afford after everything we have lost

The tuition fees at the University of Glasgow are £33000

This amount is far beyond anything I could possibly afford under the circumstances my family and I are living through

In addition I need approximately €7500 to cover my entry fees in Cairo study materials and the essential expenses required to begin my education again

I am not asking for a luxury life

I am asking for a chance

A chance to study

A chance to rebuild my life

A chance to support my parents after everything they have endured

A chance to give my younger brother and sister hope that our future can still be different

To every compassionate person who has taken the time to read my story

You may be the reason I get another chance at life

To the people of Europe and the Western world who have shown kindness to countless families facing unimaginable circumstances

Today I humbly ask you to stand with my family as well

Every donation no matter how small can bring us one step closer to education stability and dignity

And if you are unable to donate please consider sharing my story

One share could help my story reach someone who can make a difference

If you would like to support my family and help me continue my education you can donate here

Thank you for taking the time to read my story

From my father my mother my brother my sister and from me

Thank you for giving us hope when hope feels so far away

With gratitude

Soliman
