Victims testimony in the link. Left the Party a few months ago but refrained from posting about it out of “discipline/not wanting to hurt the movement” on hexbear dot net but this shit is simply beyond the pale. anyone thinking about joining a socialist org deserves to know about this horrific garbage.

Obviously there’s no quick fix to patriarchy orremoved culture but the rotten, misogynistic, apologist, opportunist Becker clique has got to go if this org is going to be anything more than a hotbed of abuse and exploitation. I genuinely loved and respected my rank and file comrades, this shit makes my blood boil.

(imma be honest, i think leftist parties should put harsh cutoff point on age of around 25 to save everyone, people both know their worth (and less likely to take this stuff), and it should reduce young radical->finds a stable job thingy, and thus ruthlessly is squeezed for juices in the heavy rotation of young ones, because party knows it's statistically likely to happen, while older core ossifies/becomes unaccountable)

    Age limit the primary party and run a separate youth wing like CPB does with YCL.

    Oddly enough I've never heard an accusation like this in any British orgs. Either the british orgs are better at coverups (doubtful?), it's a uniquely american thing and more frequent there because of it (also doubtful?) or it's used in ops by US intelligence frequently while not used in ops by UK intelligence, which would explain the huge disparity in accusations/cases.

    I do find it fairly odd that this comes up so frequently in american communist orgs. Maybe i just grossly underestimate how much more gross american men are.

    I think there is a big inquiry going on about how the UK intelligence/police used male operatives to abuse and manipulate women, with the goal of lessening their efficacy and the orgs? Granted the record runs dry 20 years ago but no reason to think it stopped.

    yeah, i know. i'm mostly just venting honestly. there's also the comrade you spoke to elsewhere in-thread who was victimized by a woman. i'm under no illusions that women aren't capable of being shit or anything, but the fact that men do the vast, vast majority of SA is uncontestable.

    just tired of this shit being absolutely every fucking where. i stand by my original statement that the people responsible should all be shot.
