I was looking at cars, part of what shocks me, is how bad current offerings are. 20 years ago, teenage alcoholicorn bought a used "premium budget" car for 4000 USD, came with the same 4L V8 they stuck in the luxury model, just without a turbo and a more sedate ecu map.
Today everything is either way more expensive or has a little 1.2L that gets squeezed for 200+ Hp, and somehow only gets like 6 better mpg.
