I will be switching to Graphene OS🇨🇦 full time to keep my access to f-droid.

I can't believe the Lemmyverse let me believe that F-Droid and Obtanium were effectively going away for normal Android users

I mean, that was Google's original plan, until the backlash led them to introduce this option for "advanced users"

    Ok, that makes sense. I'm just surprised I didn't hear about the workaround. No one had mentioned it that I've seen. I really thought I had to switch to Graphene, and I was sad.
