Don't worry it's not a phishing attack, it's not spam, or whatever other horrific thing you're assuming, you don't have to go through the horror of creating a free account on a Canadian website, it's all right here on Lemmy where you created a free account on a Canadian website. Yeah the redirect to open in an app thats only on google play is a fun part of this too.. Very suspect.

    I post a screenshot of the details of the event. I post a link to this very website for the event instead of EhNow. And you're still suspicious? of what?

    Just look up what EhNow is! Its a legit Canadian social media site. There's nothing to be suspicious about. Good lord.

    I don't know anything about an app redirect as I only use the internet on a desktop computer, but I am not understanding how that would be "suspect"
