I just hate the texture, taste and tomato water of raw tomatoes. The only ones I can stomach raw are the small little cherry tomatoes that are firmer and less watery. And don't tell me I have not tasted real tomatoes we grow like 3 varieties at home and my grandparents have even more. I just don't like raw tomatoes. permalink fedilink source parent [–] RogueBanana@piefed.zip 2 points 1 day ago I am not American either. It's just my personal taste. I do like tomatoes in sause, gravy and whatnot but not raw, I don't like the texture. I also generally don't like anything squishy or gooey. permalink fedilink source parent [–] Obi@sopuli.xyz 1 point 1 day ago I'm not American, I do like tomatoes in pretty much everything, also raw for example with burratta cheese, but I don't want them in my burgers or sandwiches (with some few exceptions, like in a pain bagnat) because it just makes everything else soggy. permalink fedilink source parent
