Your friend group decides more of your spending than your paycheck does. Same salary, wildly different bank balances — the difference isn't willpower.

I'm not generally one to complain about walls of text, but I'm not reading this despite my curiosity. Paragraphs exist and should be used. This just looks like a kid who couldn't competently create a GeoCities page.

    For some reason paragraph breaks are being added after loading the text via JavaScript. Very bizarre.

    Probably a CR/LF issue that whoever built the site to have basic text rendering be reliant on JS couldn't be fucked to care about.
