    What annoys me about this clip is that it creates a false dichotomy. Gall-Peters isn't the only alternative to Mercator, and frankly it isn't even an especially good one.

    I'd say Kavrayskiy VII because ussr-cry, but since that's not a realistic possibility, I'd settle for the similar Robinson or Winkel-Tripel.

    Eh I'd do the same thing if I was trying to get government on board with it.

    Hey you know that thing you've taken for granted forever? you should change it by getting yourself involved in endless debate over shit only ultra-nerds care about is just not as good a pitch as let's swap bad map for good enough map.
