I have one like this, but it takes an annoying amount of force to use, so I rarely use it. Maybe it's just not the best of its kind? I much prefer one of the lever-based ones. To be fair, I had some shit versions of those too before I found a good one.

The best one I've used is this one which holds a little more garlic than most and has a swing out grate so it's easy to clean.
