I don't clean my dishes either. But that's because I have a dishwasher lol. Seriously, aren't dishwashers a thing in the US?

A lot of people in the US have really weird conceptions about dishwashers, for some reason. Technology Connections has a video where he goes over it and explains that dishwashers work fine and don't require pre-rinsing or whatever.

When we refer to doing the dishes, it typically means unloading and loading the dishwasher. Not every household has a dishwasher here though.

  • Dishwashers are a thing but it's just easier to handwash tbh. Once i rinse the dish and use a fork to clear any food debris to make it ready for the dishwaher, it takes like two more seconds to wipe it with a soapy sponge. I can just do the whole sink by hand in ten minutes, or spend five minutes loading and then wait an hour.

It's nice when im running late for work or something but 9/10 times i just hand wash.
