I'm worried that a tail-wagging-the-dog situation is going to happen, where effectively the entire USA economy re-organizes itself around keeping the AI bubble inflated. And then all of the finance pundits and Hacker News commenters are going to say "aha, Zitron cries wolf again!" as the ouroboros devours itself.
