Interesting list! None of them seem to match, though.. as others have said, it might have been a llama or wild dog, but it did not have a long neck, and it was quite big, so not likely a dog either. But my memory might not be accurate. This was 20 years ago.

Or maybe it was an emu. There never was a formal peace agreement to end that war.

Or worse, maybe it was an emu infested with huntsman spiders.
