Doesn't kielbasa just mean sausage in Polish? I think sausages existed before Poland. And dumplings are said to originate from China though I'm sure the Poles have their own creative variations of the filling.

Eastern-European food often can't be attributed to any one country. Pierogi are identical to Ukrainian varenyky, and in case of meat dumplings also Russian pelmeni (borrowed from Komi and Udmurt cuisine). It's hypothesized that dumplings originated in China and spread from there to Europe via the Silk Road trade, possibly via Turks; and to Siberia via Mongols.

Dutch cuisine primarily consists of deep fried food.

Specialities like the frikandel (german frikandel is very different), patat/friet oorlog, waterfiets, kroket, bamischijf, kaassoufle and fried bounty(the candybar). Or this wonderful Arabic/Dutch combination, de kapsalon.

Many people love these foods tho. Well regarded by most tourists.
