This made some kind of sense (but not much) when Russian import ammo was cheap, now it's just a deformed oddity

    I guess now that no ammo is cheap you might as well reload anyway... x39 does have some benefits over 5.56 within it's effective range as well

    I think if you're already committed to reloading, why not just build the gun for a caliber that fits its default architecture better? I don't think 300 blackout is particularly great but if I'm reloading I'd go that direction before x39 for an AR
