I’m finishing the 3rd book at the request of a friend and … I’m finding it unfunny at best. They’re were some interesting moments with Donuts but I feel they are becoming spare.

Most monsters are only a derivative name on a 2-3years old meme and I don’t feel no struggle inside Carl

Out of convenience I choose to listen to it and it’s maybe why I find this really dull but comparing it with something like Dungeon and Daddies and D&D it’s much more imaginative

I made it as far as book 4 and decided to take a break after reading them back to back. I haven't been back yet.

I came to them from a recommendation from lemmy, and it's my first introduction to litRPG. I liked them well enough, but I did get a bit tired of there being lots of 'RPG', but not enough 'lit'.

I don't see the equivalency to The Big Bang Theory, though.
