These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

Posts must be related to Steam Hardware or Steam OS in an obvious way.
No piracy, there are other communities for that.
Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.

About 3 weeks ago (well past the original reservation period) I decided I might as well put myself on the reservation list for the steam machine (512Gb + controller) and yesterday, I already received my notification that I am able to purchase the damn thing. I expected to wait way longer, at least until next year.
Are turnarounds this short to be expected?

Not who you were originally asking but I'm in the same boat and I reserved mine the day they opened for reservations. My estimate is 2027.

Thanks for the reply, then it's definitely region based. I placed my reservation one day after they opened and received mine a week ago, and my orgiinal estimate was December 2026. Hope you all get yours sooner than the estimate.
