Every food commercial, advertisement, and packaging in the US is currently protein obsessed. I just bought 3 burritos, and the most noticeable thing on the entire package is its protein content. TV commercials about waffles are advertising that they have X amount of protein per serving. The products in my jobsite's vending machine have protein all over every package.

Did America have a protein thing recently?

If you want to be muscular, then you need to eat a lot of protein.

This statement is not supported by science. There are no shortcuts, if you want big muscles you have to exercise more.

Exercising is the easy part of body building. Eating and sleeping well enough is the hard part.

Sleep is the endgame boss for me. Diet I've gotten fairly good at. But I've struggled with sleep for a long time and it's so fragile. One thing can be off and it'll screw up the whole night, which messes with the next day etc. It's very easy to fall into a bad sleep cycle.
