The fact i can learn the mods via the quest book is everything to me it feels like a coherent experience. Its also so well put together allowing you to learn bits and pieces slowly.

I spread the good word of gregtech. Play gregtech. Greg demands it

I’ve been also getting into HBM’s Nuclear Tech Mod. Different vibe than GTNH but similar itch and 1.7.10. Doing a play through without a mod pack, where it’s the focus alongside standard quality of life like JEI.

Have to evangelize this when ever Greg mentioned because of the common big approach. Nuclear science and modern/post apocalyptic tech focused, with a lot of fallout ports.

Also the creator updates it regularly on the GitHub which is cool. Sorry if I started talking mods in a modpack discussion uh
