i like all the mammal pets and the aves. i had a friend that had a pet tarantula. we just looked at each other warily. i didn't want to get close.

i have another friend that has scorpions and snakes, and that's hard for me to wrap my head around. ive watched and held pet snakes plenty, but i don't get it. i look at their eyes and whatever is going on there is a total mystery to me. don't even get me started on scorpions. little alien fighting robots. ill just watch, thank you.

ill take dogs and cats all day. i find people who don't like mammals to have some kind of sad or limited history with a species. sure cats can play aloof head games and dogs can be pushy. birds can be noisy. whatever. i can be all those things too. it takes all kinds to make a world.
