I'm so over all the remastered games. Like 2 different remasters of Halo, now Witcher, maybe Red Redemption 2 will get a remaster.
Just give us new original games or proper sequels. Lucky that there lots of indies out there otherwise you'd play the same game over and over again in a somewhat higher resolution.
This is the low-risk strategy that decides everything now. It's why Disney has been putting out nothing but remakes for 10+ years. They can simply put out a poll, ask people if they'd watch a sequel/buy a remaster of a game, and set the budget accordingly. Guaranteed profit. No one is cheering this on.
