About 3 weeks ago (well past the original reservation period) I decided I might as well put myself on the reservation list for the steam machine (512Gb + controller) and yesterday, I already received my notification that I am able to purchase the damn thing. I expected to wait way longer, at least until next year.
Are turnarounds this short to be expected?
I'm annoyed that I originally picked that queue and then changed to just 512GB without controller. I did not get selected and am stuck on the waitlist and I can't change without losing my spot, without any information about where that is. I'd literally buy any model available, although I understand why Valve doesn't want to encourage queue-hopping.
