[β] brsrklf@jlai.lu 9 points 3 hours ago (2 children) The right guy, presumably the liar said "the other only tell truth", then it should be a lie. And both said she may ask one question, which can't be true and a lie at the same time. So they are both occasional liars and whatever they say is no help at all. permalink fedilink source hideshow 4 child comments replies: [β] theneverfox@pawb.social 2 points 45 minutes ago Saying you may ask one question can be interpreted many ways It could be permission, a command, or just a prediction The truth teller could be giving a command, the rules of the interaction. The liar could be predicting you'll ask more than one question and lying about it permalink fedilink source parent [β] ozymandias117@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago (1 child) I think you got them on the first, but if the liar would answer more than one question, while the truth teller will only answer one, "she may ask one question" probably falls under a lie permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [β] brsrklf@jlai.lu 2 points 2 hours ago* If we assume "you may ask us one question" implicitly entails "and get an answer from me"... Yeah, maybe. permalink fedilink source parent
