"The United States is giving serious consideration to changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America," Mr. Trump said in a post on Truth Social Tuesday morning, claiming the U.S. doesn't expect to be "doing much business with Ontario any longer."

Learn geography please. Canada and America are both on the North American continent.

Canada is in America, depending on your definition of continents.

Check out what other languages call this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas

Nearly all other languages refer to the two landmasses as "America", not "Americas". North America is the northern part of America, South America is the southern part.
