It would probably be really bad for the concrete on that bridge to be this overgrown. This is kind of a pet peeve of mine. You don't get "green utopia" by planting plants on buildings, you get a maintenance nightmare. Those roots are going to wreck the structure.

The one with the solar panels reminds me of a Tiktok I saw from China. They put up a solar farm in the desert. They have to clean the panels once in a while and that water combined with the shade from the panels made it possible for grass and plants to grow around the panels. At first they sent people to cut down the grass once in a while but then they discovered that it was easier just to let sheep graze under the panels.

    We have a heap of solar farms here that are also farming sheep. Pretty neat dual use for the land. Chuds are fuming though about putting solar panels over agricultural land, even though the land is pretty hilly and not really suited to farming anything but livestock
