I have some padded bike shorts I'd like to wear on a bike ride, but I'm getting pretty in my head about poop particles getting into the shorts and not washing out in the wash.

Whether you are putting on bike shorts, board shorts, or no shorts at all, always fully clean yourself after you poop and live worry free.

When you put it that way, it seems simple.

But let's say i haven't pooped in a while. There could be all kinds of poop particles that have leaked out.

So i guess i should poop first, then clean, then put on the bike shorts.

If your butthole is leaking when you don’t want it to you should seek out a doctor.

Pretty sure this is normal. It's not like i can see the leak. It's more of a mental thing, and a smell when sweat is added.

I'd look into augmenting your fiber, that helped a lot for me. Also, I wet paper first then dry now. I have a lot of hair so dry only wasn't really taking care of everything and then when I would sweat, it would feel gross. I guess a bidet would work as well.

Makes the stool firmer, less messy and come more regularly if I understand well.

I seem to have that already, so i think my fiber is fine. But thank you for the suggestion!

No problem! I just thought of another possible solution. When I used to work as a line cook, we would put some baby powder down there to keep things dry. No idea if it will work with bike shorts and biking in general but it might be something to try.

I've thought about that, but I'm worried the corn starch would act like an extra abrasive, and also be difficult to wash out of the foam-like padding. Does anyone else do that with bike shorts?
